why me?

That guy over there…that’s Taylor. Owner and operator of Goat & Co. Construction!

“I fall somewhere between generations, old enough to value hard work and doing things the right way, young enough to keep an open mind and adapt fast. Growing up in that in-between space taught me that pride in your work matters just as much as progress does. I’ve seen what happens when people rush the job or cut corners, and that’s not something I could ever understand doing. I care about building things that last…homes, businesses, relationships, a reputation I can stand behind. Maybe it’s a mix of millennial drive and Gen Z honesty, but I believe good work speaks louder than anything you can post online.”

For Taylor, striving to provide excellent quality work is a personal habit. Every project he takes on is a reflection of who he is, and he takes a lot of pride in making sure that reflection shines. He doesn’t cut corners, he doesn’t rush, and he doesn’t walk away from something he wouldn’t be proud to put his name on.

He’s spent the past eight years working in just about every corner of the construction world. From residential builds to commercial projects, and even a few years in heavy civil work. He spent those few years in heavy civil because he wanted to understand what happens before the walls go up: the shoring, piling, drilling, and the foundation work that holds everything together. Learning that side of the trade gave him a whole new level of respect for the process, and a solid foundation (pun intended) for everything he does now.

Today, he’s ready to get back into the building; and his focus is on bringing that same depth of understanding and craftsmanship to every project. Whether it’s completely renovating an interior space or adding those simple landscaping touches that make a home or business feel complete.

His philosophy is simple: do it right the first time! And if he doesn’t have the answer, he’ll bring in the people who do. He’s not here to waste your time or his…he’s here to make sure you get the kind of work that lasts, without the headaches down the road.
